As your wedding photographer, my goal is to bypass all that awkwardness and guide you into comfortable, safe, and seen. Are you neurodivergent? I gotchu. Queer? This space is FOR you. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, I’ll laugh at your dark humor and make some terrible jokes of my own, might throw out some nerdy movie references, and probably tear up over your vows because I’m really a big softie at heart. Expect lots of excited squeals over the pretty light, and some truly terrible dance moves if HOTTOGO comes on during your reception. I have zero qualms about taking control of any unruly groomsmen, sneaking cookies from your dessert table for you or handling that difficult aunt with the iPad while making sure your family and friends have fun and feel comfortable. After nearly a decade of experience, if your timeline starts getting wonky - no worries. I’ll make sure we catch up. I’ve fixed hair disasters, always carry bobby pins and a sewing kit, and never hesitate to throw back a tequila shot with you at the end of the party - hell I’ll stick around for the afterparty and shake it with your grandma.

GREAT question. I use the 3-2-1 backup system. I shoot on dual card slot cameras, always have a backup camera, keep one original set of SD cards until all your photos are delivered, and immediately back up to 2 hard drives. I also keep one off site that gets updated, just in case anything happens to the ones at home. Having a file management system is probably my biggest soapbox as a photographer!

No, but I highly recommend it! This is where we lay the groundwork for your wedding day to feel like we’re just a bunch of pals hanging around. Even if you’ve had your engagement photos done already, I encourage doing a session together to figure out what does and doesn’t work for you posing wise, what you really love yourself in, and maybe what doesn’t feel/look as natural as you’d like. Your engagement session can be whatever blend of your aesthetic and personality YOU want it to be, in a low pressure way since it’s not “the big day”
